Aluminium Pattern Works refers to the creation of precise patterns or molds made from aluminum, which are essential in the casting process. These patterns serve as the basis for producing various industrial components, particularly in industries such as automotive, aerospace, marine, and manufacturing. Aluminum is often chosen for pattern works due to its lightweight nature, machinability, and ability to withstand wear during the casting process. Aluminium patterns are typically used in sand casting, investment casting, and die casting, and are vital for ensuring that cast parts meet the desired specifications.

Thermocol Pattern Casting, also known as Lost Foam Casting (LFC), is an advanced casting process where expendable expanded polystyrene (EPS or thermocol) patterns are used to create complex and accurate metal castings. The thermocol pattern is embedded in a refractory sand mold and replaced by molten metal, which vaporizes the pattern and takes its exact shape. This technique is ideal for low to medium volume production of intricate components with excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy, particularly in aluminum, cast iron, and steel castings.
